20/08/2024: Great Cofee served at this very cozy cafe.

19/07/2024: I stopped at Michael's for coffee and a croissant after a 3hr bike ride. I was sitting outside waiting for my coffee, drinking water from my cycling water bottle when one of the staff came over to tell me that I can't have the bottle on the table. I didn't understand why. She told me they didn't want other customers to get the impression that they can bring their own water (the assumption that they won't pay for water/soda in the cafe). Our exchange was pleasant enough but it made no sense to me. While the coffee was excellent, and the location wonderful, I don't agree with the "water policy", especially as it pertains to cyclists.
