We really enjoyed our meal. The mackerel we ordered was perfectly done and very tasty. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. We sat outside and had a great evening!

Small dishes a good concept. Several of the dishes too oil heavy, lacking crispness and freshness. Papadums excellent, as well as the pancake at the end. Good to be able to buy wine by the glass and excellent service. Chanterelles, scallops and the crab salad a little too fatty for my taste.

Very nice meal in a great atmosphere. Inventive flavors and dishes that play off old classics. Great wine selection.

Excellent service in a pleasant setting. Quality food, although the portions are a bit small. Good value for the city.

Lovely experience by the canal! The food was great (delicious ceviche and catch of the day) and the service exceptional!

Have to say that I am disappointed. None of the four dishes that I ordered is impressive. Quesdilla was too oily (almost like being soaked in oil); Cucumber salad looks like it was taken out directly from a jar with no display which is too salty (and only salty without other flavor); Onglet is not flavorful at all and the source coming with it is too thick and dry which does not add additional layer to the beef. Only one rather ok is the waffle with crab salad.

Cozy, fantastic food and super friendly staff, the only downside was the noise level, we were a bit unlucky sitting next to a large birthday party. Exciting flavor combinations, everything was well-cooked, fresh and nicely presented. Highly recommended!

We had one of our best meals in ages at Kanalen. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, with an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs finishing plates and cooking over open coals - always intriguing and fun to watch. The food was varied, creative, and delicious. The portion sizes were small but sufficient and the guidance for ordering quantities was accurate. They comfortably accommodated a lactose intolerant guest and were generous in their wine pours. Our favorites included the ibérican pork skewers, oysters, and ceviche, but everything we ate was amazing.

Restaurante recomendado en la Guía Michelin de cocina danesa creativa con guiños de gastronomía mediterránea y con una cuidada elaboración en cocina, así como una esmerada presentación de todos los platillos para compartir que pudimos degustar y de los que destacaríamos la calidad de un selecto producto de mercado y temporada. El ambiente es acogedor, el servicio muy competente y el local tiene una ubicación privilegiada con vistas al canal. Sin duda muy recomendable.

Cenamos aquí un jueves por la noche y nos encantó tanto que regresamos a la noche siguiente. El concepto es un alimento realmente de alta calidad, inteligentemente concebido y elaborado con sabor real, servido en platos pequeños del tamaño de un «aperitivo» (elija cuantos le gusten ) y luego seguido de otros más grandes para pescado o carne a la parrilla. Hay un montón de vinos por copa - algunas buenas opciones, incluyendo una naranja espléndida Alsacia Gewürztraminer - y realmente funcionó para nosotros, ya que nos gusta pedir diferentes cosas y compartir. Puedes subir o bajar el menú como prefieras. El ambiente es muy relajado y sin prisas. El servicio era personal y amable, pero no en absoluto quisquilloso o apurado, así que nos sentimos completamente capaces de ir a nuestro propio ritmo. Anoche comimos en otro lugar -de calidad y precio similares- y nos sentimos abrumados, simplemente porque Kanalen era tan bueno. Bravo!
