Kappo Ando København

Had a fantastic time at Kappo Ando! The food was outstanding, each dish better than the last, and the wine and sake were spot on. Cozy atmosphere and excellent service made the night even better.

Fantastic evening with lovely food and knowledgeable service

I would say the experience was at least 3 and 4 stars. We took almost everything on the map and unfortunately there were some losers in between. 2-3 dishes were really good, 2-3 dishes ok tasty, but nothing special and 2 dishes were decidedly boring. 1 was a rice dish and a chicken soup (SHOKUJI) that tasted like nothing and the other was yakitori. Nice decor, but a bit boring atmosphere. So a bit too expensive and not quite good enough.

Absolutely epic dining experience at this Copenhagen Japanese restaurant. All four of us got the prix fixed 6 or 7 course meal, I actually lost count. The owner was our host and introduced each dish to us. Each dish was paired with a different kind of Sake. This isn't your garden variety, warm sake, instead they are sourced from special Japanese producers and tasted more like Chardonnay. Food, especially the locally sourced pork dish, was one of the best things I've eaten in the last few years. Yum!!

You can’t really ask for more than this. Food was great and very authentic, service was impeccable and design was excellent. Will be back soon.
