Kato Sushi Frederiksberg

16/02/2025: We had our wedding here with the family, about 20 people, and it was a fantastic experience! They have a room in the basement for approx. 20 people where we held it. The room is really atmospheric and is located by their wine cellar. You go down a spiral staircase and see an oblong table. The menu was put together with their restaurant manager and they gave good feedback and were quite flexible. We had lobster ravioli, fried quail, and crème brûlée with raspberry sorbet. The wine was burgundy oriented, really delicious. The service was also really good! We had children with us who could enjoy themselves away from the table and had two musicians who came and played. We had our wedding in a nearby park and they were very flexible and we agreed that if it rained we could have the ceremony down there too. It was not topical, but safe and professional service. The only small downside was that when I asked one of the waiters if they could introduce the wines, he was reluctant and said that it was just Bourgogne AOP, so there wasn't much to say. A swig, where he should have just taken one of the more experienced waiters over to explain the wine. All in all, it was a huge success, and I can only warmly recommend holding events at Sans Sauci!
