16/09/2026: Party of 2, visiting Brus on a Tuesday night. Decent amount of people but not overly crowded however the service at the bar was lacy and non attentive, despite being the only ones at the counter. Ordered 2 beers and was immediately asked for tips when trying to pay. Stop this, it has the completely opposite effect.

14/09/2026: I've been there a few times now, and it certainly lives up to that first time. The food is really high quality – not just on paper, but when it gets to the plate. We're not talking about fancy molecular gastronomy or loads of foam, but rather basics done with prestige and attention. BRUS is one of those restaurants that shows that you can take gastronomy seriously without losing your appetite and fun. Visit it if you care about eating well.
