Københavner Cafeen København

Very delicious Danish food. We really enjoyed it. Kudos to the kitchen. But please note, everything is a bit more expensive in Denmark than in Germany. But when you're in Copenhagen, you want to eat traditional food.

Came here on a recommendation from our local guide, and it was a mixed bag. The mushroom puff pastry was absolutely delicious—the pastry was perfectly crispy and flaky, and the mushroom cream sauce was savory and rich. Unfortunately, the spiced herring smørrebrød was a bit too salty for our taste.

Excellent food at reasonable prices.

A few steps from Strøget, Københavner Caféen is located quietly and undisturbed. My review is based on a light lunch on a sunny September day, where I, like several other guests, enjoyed the opportunity to dine outside. I ordered curry herring with fried egg and a high-topped potato dish. Both pieces of open sandwiches were right in the cupboard, tasty and beautifully presented. The menu offers plenty of options for both classic pieces and exciting variations. The service was welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere relaxed. Especially the visual expression with a good height on the open sandwiches makes the experience extra good. Price and quality go together really well. All in all, a great lunch experience. Definitely a candidate for a return visit.

This is the place where you can have traditional Danish food. It’s good and heavy. No surprises are guaranteed. Service is a little rough, but this is part of the atmosphere.

It is a very good restaurant/cafe in the centerof town, the saff is very friendly and the food is great, as a tourist I recommend it, the prices are affordable, the food is great and the staff is very helpful and sweet!

The cafe is very nice, I think it's a great place for tourists to immerse themselves in the local atmosphere, the interior is in a children's style, the menu has typical Danish herring dishes, the waitress is very nice. I advise those who come to Denmark to come here at least once.
