Underwhelmed by allocated table size, we weren’t inspired to order much. So, we simply went with the cliche dishes. Freshness of seafood was delightful tho being one of many shops in an open carpark diluted any appeal. It was very reasonably priced and table service was fantastic.

The oysters were very fresh, I loved the sour dipping sauce. The mussels were delicious, but the sauce was a little salty. The lemonade and the 1664 beer were also tasty. The staff provided excellent service.

I had the chance to experience Cod Fish, Warm Scallop & Fiyord Shrimp in Kodbyens Fiskebar at the Meat Packing Area. Despite the atmosphere of this area, I can easily say especially Cod Fish & Warm Scallops were world class & can be considered as high class fine dining dishes. For the fiyord shrimp; although they are very very small baby fiyord shrimps, they fry them as a whole without unpeeled, I couldn't eat much of it as it gave me the feeling of eating an insect. I wanted to warn you about the only issue I had encountered in that delicious restaurant.

The bread smelled delicious and was very chewy. The squid was prepared in a way that resembled udon noodles, which was quite unique. The fried and grilled fish also had a strong fishy flavor.

The waiters were all very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and lively. The indoor seating was a bit cramped but acceptable. The food was diverse, with many creative touches and seasonings. Prices were slightly high; note that non-Danish credit cards incur an additional charge of approximately 4%.
