We had booked a table for my birthday for me and my daughter. Even though we arrived a little before our reservation, we were immediately given a table on the first floor. There was a small flag on the table, which was a nice touch, but I was a little surprised that none of the waiters asked about the occasion or wished me a happy birthday. I have experienced this at other restaurants when they celebrate a birthday. The service was friendly. Some waiters spoke Danish, others English, which is not a problem, but you have to get used to the fact that the presentation of the dishes is in English - even when the waiter is Danish. We had chosen the Omakase menu with 13 servings, where the kitchen puts together the menu itself. The first four snacks were all really tasty and set expectations high. This was followed by four starters, which were also full of flavour. The soup in particular was absolutely fantastic and had a very authentic flavour. However, it took a relatively long time before the four main courses were served. It didn't really matter, as after eight servings we were already getting full. The main courses were generally really delicious, but one dish – a papadum with kimchi and berries – fell completely out of place on the rest of the menu. It didn't work for me and seemed a bit out of place. There was again quite a wait before the dessert arrived. Unfortunately, it was the weakest dish of the evening. It was a matcha tiramisu, but the ladyfingers were very hard and didn't seem like they had been allowed to steep properly. The cream also appeared a bit separated, so the dessert didn't live up to the level of the other dishes. All in all, we had a good experience with many exciting and really tasty dishes. Although some dishes and the long wait dragged a bit, it is still a place I would like to recommend to those who want a modern Asian taste experience.

Good place and good food, however, still room for improvement

Sumptuous and delicious! Everything was a feast for the eyes and the palate. The soup in particular was absolutely fantastic. And the wine menu matched it all perfectly. The only improvement could be the dessert - here a vanilla cream with ripe, sour mango and freshly grated lemon zest would have been a better match for the matcha ice cream and crumble.

Really lovely evening. Very delicious food, wine, cocktails, all served by a very professional waiter.

My husband and I went to Copenhagen for a friends wedding. The first day we had free and because of Google reviews, we found Keyser Social. It was a 20min walk from our hotel. We were not disappointed! Ricardo was our waiter who was so lovely and really spoilt us with kindness. Ezra was so smiley and friendly. The food arrived fast and everything was delicious, even the drinks. KS surpassed our expectations. We loved it so much, that we went back on our last day! This time we had Gabriel and Silvia :). We were blown away with the great and fast service from the staff. The food again didn't disappoint. We wish there was a KS in London! Thank you all for two lovely evenings.
