Good food and good service . Good experience. We came last week . I was amazing . Will come back next time

I had dreamed of trying Kiin Kiin for many years, and finally the opportunity presented itself, so I was very excited. Upon arrival, you sit downstairs on small sofas, where various snacks are served, one of them was a sausage on duck and chicken served on an Asian smoke grill, the idea is fun, but it hurts a lot of smoke in the room. The taste of the sausage was not a winner, and the core of the sausage was too cold. The space is somewhat cramped by the sofa and the accompanying table, and the waiters who have to present and put together various dishes at the table have difficulty getting there. After snacks and a drink, we were followed upstairs and seated at a large table in a corner, where I, who was sitting closest to the window, had my food served across the table because the waiter couldn't come over to my side. The staff all speak English, some better than others, and unfortunately they run their presentation in a routine manner, which can be heard repeated at all tables. The food, which is what it's all about, didn't quite live up to my expectations, it feels like there's more focus on deconstruction of classic Thai dishes than there is on the taste. We got a wine menu and a juice menu, both had good elements, but also incomprehensible ones, for example a ginger shot served with a carrot juice. The ginger shot was so strong that it completely ruined the flavors in the accompanying dish. All in all, glad I tried it, but not sure I need it again. The price and the overall experience didn't seem to be related, unfortunately. I don't understand in any way why they chose the locking system found in the toilets, that you have to pick up a wooden stick from the floor and put the 2 doors together with it, not brilliant at all. In the 4 hours we were there, there was no preparation in the toilets, this was seen by the fact that they used washcloths to dry their hands, lying in large stacks with no room for more. In general, the toilets could do with a refresh.

The food and flavors are worth their weight in gold. Feel free to take the Wine package with the Tasting menu. It will be super delicious, I understand that they have a Michelin star 👍

Exceptional meal. Of multiple Michelin restaurants in Copenhagen, this was our favorite. Excellent juice pairing. Highly recommend.

I love Thai food. Have eaten Thai food my whole life. Have never eaten Thai food like this. Super interesting. The table next to us even got to blowtorch their own crust. They definitely don't hold back on the spice level. Whole meal took about 3 hours start to finish. Service was friendly. Only complaint is that the pescatarian substitution for the beef being fishcake felt a bit.. cheap.. I was told it would be king prawn. Then again I did request no beef just before the meal. Would describe more but better you try it for yourself. Just Thai flavours in textures you've never tried before. While I definitely enjoyed my meal here, if I had to choose between this and my regular Thai takeout, I think I'd still go with the latter. Would recommend this as a try if you want Thai food but different.
