Asian small plates - food was very good and there were a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. It's a little pricey, but the interior design, plates, and glassware is all very tasteful. Great option on this busy street - the window seats are a hot commodity for summer people-watching!

Really delicious food, but the service is unfortunately lacking We had heard a lot of positive things about Kiin Kiin Bao Bao, not least because it is part of the renowned Kiin Kiin universe. So expectations were high when we decided to visit the restaurant on Vesterbrogade on a Thursday evening. Fortunately, it wasn't completely full, so we got a table without a reservation. Unfortunately, the experience started off a bit unevenly. It took a little too long before we even got a menu, and from the time we ordered to when we got our drinks, it was another 15-20 minutes. When you also see that the restaurant is only three-quarters full, your patience starts to wear thin. It became clear that it was primarily the service that was the bottleneck – the kitchen could easily keep up, because once we were allowed to order, the food came out quite quickly. We followed the waiter's recommendation to have a starter, one bao per person, and then share a main course. However, we chose to have two baos each and then share the main course. It turned out to be too little – the portion was really only suitable for one person, and we therefore had to order extra food to fill up. This is perhaps very normal for this type of restaurant, but it would have been nice to have a little more honest guidance about portion sizes. The food itself was really good! The nuances of taste were just right, and both the bao and the main course were beautiful, well-prepared and tasty. The price was absolutely fair in relation to the quality and ingredients, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and relaxed. The biggest minus of the evening was unfortunately the somewhat disinterested service. The three waiters seemed stressed and a little uninterested in what was happening at the tables. You often sat with the feeling of being forgotten, and they rarely came by to check if we were missing anything. It seemed pretty clear that these were not trained staff. All in all, we land on 4 stars – for the food, for the price and for the atmosphere. But if the service steps up a bit, the experience could easily be worth a top rating.

Meal flavors are outstanding, service was great too

OK great experience. No expectations. It was different tastes, exciting - and really good. Got to taste 6-7 different things, where the appetizers in particular were top notch. Good drinks and nice service.

Tasting menu vegetarian fantastic

Good atmosphere, nice room, great and friendly servers and absolutely delicious food. You will not regret going here, we enjoyed our visit a lot and will be back.
