I had a really good experience at VeVe Restaurant. There is a nice and calm atmosphere, which makes it a cozy place to enjoy your food. The staff is sweet, friendly and welcoming, which makes the visit even better. The food offers many exciting taste experiences, and the Thai food is really good and full of flavor. All in all, a cozy place with a nice atmosphere, good food and sweet staff. Definitely recommended!

We visited for dinner and chose the tasting menu, taking us through a selection of beautifully presented dishes with bold flavours. From the snacks to the dessert, every course felt thoughtfully prepared and showcased the diversity of Thai cuisine.

I rarely write reviews and hate to write “bad” ones but my experience at Veve was subpar. As a vegetarian myself, I didn’t realize that Veve used to be fully vegetarian until reading the reviews afterwards. The menu is not fully vegetarian anymore which is fine but means they have made lots of changes. The food was suuuper salty making it almost hard to eat. Half of the drinks menu was not available. The waiter was kind and brought us some complementary sorbet. The star of the show was the sticky rice - it was amazing! But after receiving the bill, we found that we were charged 45 kr (?!) for water which was brought to the table without asking. The atmosphere was nice but it was super quiet. I’d want to try it again on a weekend to see if anything changes but I wasn’t too impressed with the experience sadly :(

Went to VeVe on Monday for a 5 course Tasting menu. It was excellent and beyond expectations. Each dish was made with love and care and our waiter was so professional and sweet. Every detail was taken care of at Veve and the food tasted fantastic. Highly recommended if you are missing the perfect setting for a date night or just looking for a bite to eat in quiet, beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended!

A really good dining experience that was different from the usual Thai restaurants in Copenhagen. The classic menu was good. The vegetarian menu could have been better. It was a bit one-sided.

08/08/2026: Really good local bakery. Good jordbærtærte and their fancy breads are almost as good as those modern fancy ones you see on Instagram, and after 3 hours it’s the same anyway! Toasts great too and they can slice breads at the shop, which is too much to ask for in many hip places. I really like the durum option. I think these guys hit the good sweet spot: some immigrant influenced stuff, some classic Danish stuff, the hip sour dough bread almost as good as the insanely expensive places, and they’re also very consistent (places like Andersen & Maillard and Hart sometimes have a bad day and these Brødhjørnet guys are always just good). And they’re super friendly too, sometimes they chat. Prices are as expected, not super cheap but they’re a decent bakery so that’s fine. Their hindbærsnitte is BIG, good value for money!
02/06/2026: It looks great with its local bread 🍞 👍 but it is not in top fights with other bakers
