Kirin Sushi Hvidovre

The food was really good and served pretty quickly. There were 9 of us eating and we had a good experience overall. The service could have been a little better, but not in a way that ruined anything. The staff did their job and the food was really good for the price. The atmosphere could be even better with some music or something. People hate for no reason...

Service was slow, the sushi included a thick layer of rice. Ordered were mixed with other table, we saw many plates we ordered delivered on the other table. At some point, the waiter asked us to order everything again as there was a confusion with the chef. We have been told by accompanying friends that their previous experiences were better, so it could be a not great experience this time.

Sushi is ok for the price, as various sauces are included in the price. But it won't be a place I'll go again. Since the quality is too boring and everything is stuck in some form of mayo/chili/sauce to cover the boring taste, it's too much in my opinion. The service is a mixed feeling. For the woman who served us was sweet and nice. But the kitchen wasn't super fast so yes it's a good business as you get full faster. They overlooked the last order for ice cream so we had to go up to the counter even though we were the last ones left. The atmosphere in there is just good fun. Lights that flash constantly, such a very old-fashioned Chinese restaurant atmosphere, an aquarium with stressed fish in it (there are fish and rocks nothing else) but hey then you can talk about how bad they are if you get lost in topics. It's an ok place if you want sushi that doesn't cost a lot, you spend around 300 kr. per. pers. Personally, I'd rather pay 100 kr more and get delicious food, good service and a good atmosphere.

I always buy my sushi here. Today it was a great experience — my sister has celiac disease, and we asked the girl who took our order over the phone to please avoid cross-contamination. She separated the pieces with gluten into two boxes and even sent notes explaining everything! She was very kind and wonderful. Highly recommended❤️ very good sushi and excellent price

Really good food! Worth every penny (if you can eat a lot).
