Knud Halsnæs

Always a treat to visit Knud in lovely Hundested. From the moment one opens the door to this restaurant one knows the quality and service in this place are top notch. Food is just delicious, with attention to detail, flavor, presentation and quality.

My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary there. It wasn't full, but we are also at the end of October and a Monday 🤗 We arrived a little early, but there was still room for us. The evening started with drinks and conversation before the meal. Drinks were delicious and an appropriate size. The food was really good. I got whole raw lobster that really tasted good and was perfectly cooked. We also got a nice white wine, which was recommended by our server Nadia, who is currently studying and will later train as a sommelier. However, she had a good understanding of which types of wine were appropriate 👍 In addition to that, she was a really sweet and welcoming waiter who had situational awareness and knew how to be on the spot when you needed it. We ended with the "Exit kit" which was also delicious. Everything can be seen in the attached photo, but not Nadia. You must drive her to Knud to meet 👌🤭 we will definitely come again 😁

The lamb we got had a lot more fat on it than there was meat on it, but otherwise a good experience

Nice place but a bit on the expensive end

Vi fik kammuslinger og Moulesfrites og 1/2 hummer alle retter var flot anrettet og smagte virkelig godt. Vi fik en dejlig riesling til og den var super. Der manglede brød til hummeren. Jeg bestilte lidt ekstra mayo til hummeren da jeg synes det krævedes.

Excellent. Everything was top class

This place is pure love and it's not just the food I'm thinking about here. I had a bad coffee and complained extra because I had had a bad day, but Jens, who owns the place with his wife, took it with a smile, poured a glass of bubbles and served the most delicious food. It all oozed deliciousness and I had to end the day by giving Jens a hug and I left a little richer not only because of a lovely dinner with my wife, but because I felt how much power there is in meeting a man who loves it he makes and has a big heart with excess for a grumpy man like me. THANKS!

Da vi først kom til bords var alt tip top. Dygtig tjener, der kendte til både mad og vin ud over 'overskrifter'. Dejligt! Den eneste grund til at stjernerne ikke kan givez helt i top er at: Bordet ikke var klar, da vi kom til reserveret tid, og vi måtte vente ret længe +30 min. Vi købte lidt at drikke imens, men synes at huset burde have budt på dette grundet ventetiden. Servicen var god og imødekommende hele vejen igennem, maden smagte skønt og var en oplevelse i sig selv, idet mad og vinmenu komplementerede hinanden på et smagsniveau der var meget interessant og fyldt med velsmag.

What a fantastic restaurant. Really delicious food. Lamb chops with grilled pointed cabbage, potatoes, a whole roasted garlic. Super!! Haven't had such a good meal in a long time. Highly recommended. Nice service.

Nice view of the marina with seating outside. We had Moules Frites. They were quite small and must have amounted to 60-70 moules. The taste was good with a strong flavour of dill. The frites were served with taragon dip and quite nice
