Even though it is one star, since it is a Michelin star restaurant, the food is expected to be above "very good" standards. But the food here was not up to my expectations. I expected it to be extraordinary, but it's not. Also, service takes quite a long time in these types of restaurants, especially for the tasting menu, but here it was unusually slow. Even though they don’t have a star, the quality of food and wine are fantastic and value for money is great.

First let me say there is some confusion about the Michelin Star. From comments here and elsewhere, I thought the restaurant had a star. That does not jive with the Michelin Guide, which lists Kokkeriet, but does not show a star. Further reading shows it had a star at one time, but does not now. Back to the experience…The first odd thing was that we were the only diners in the entire restaurant. At 7:00pm on a Friday night! The waiter (the only staff member we saw) said they had bookings for 6 people, but no one else ever showed up. I would describe the food as good, not great. 12 bite sized courses were offered as a fixed menu. Our favorite was a scallop tartare. Other memorable bites included 2 small cheese ravioli and a tough but flavorful duck breast. A “palate cleanser” of ice cream was offered, followed by 2 desserts. The first was a dollop of chocolate ice cream, with a dab of caramel. Then a lemon curd with ice cream and frozen yogurt, topped with a crumble of meringue. Finishing off with 3 creamy offerings was a clear misstep. A lazy, careless approach necessitated by the limitations of operating an almost empty restaurant. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

La experiencia fue algo decepcionante ya que nada más llegar el maitre nos dice que solo tienen un menú, cosa que no nos habían advertido previamente. Había una persona que no le gustaba la carne. En fin , no nos dieron opción. El Maitre nos comenta que e era culpa del xef??? El menú bien, bueno y de buena calidad pero se notaba qu tienen algún problema ya que la bodega estaba bastante vacía. El precio del menú el previsto, pero se les fue la cabeza con la bebida aunque es Dinamarca. No obstante lo más desagradable, fue el tema del menú y la falta de variedad en la bodega
