Kokkeriet København

Well, this was an unexpected experience. Based on a star in the Guide, I had higher hopes and expectations. The evening began with me arriving and "the front door was out of order". Had to walk through the kitchen instead. (turned out the front door worked shortly after)?? It was my birthday celebration and the companys hostess wanted to start with a glass of champagne. The waiter brought us one and claimed it was named "Grand Cru". It was flat and tasted of raisins. He claimed it was "just opened" but that simply cannot be true. It took the waiter more than twenty minutes to present an alternative champagne. (We were the only guests at the time in the restaurant). In the mean time, the first courses arrived, way ahead of our welcome toast. A messy start of the evening. The twelve course dinner was a pleasent experience except for one, that was not on the menu. Som "Celeriac surprise" was presented. Too tough to cut through and harsh in taste. We had to send it out uneaten. Apart from that, food was impeccable. One of the dishes, Venison, was presented as being "cow". The management cannot let an unexperinced trainee open the restaurant. He was simply lost in the job and our experince took the damage of that. The whole experience felt unprofessional and not at par with the claimed star in the guide. Will not return.

Kokkeriet is a diamond in the rough! I would definitely get the prix fix menu as it is quite a culinary journey! Be prepared however, because dinner can be over 3 hours.

December is here and so I would like to express my gratitude to Sammy and Kokkeriet. Having my internship at Kokkeriet were some of the best months of my life. I arrived as any other newbee preping veggies & bread and eventually was able to be on my own at a section during the service. Also learnt about protocol to present and explain dishes to guests. Always remember as well our super tasty staff meals and a nice beer with colleagues to close the night. Also met one of the bestest friends I could ever have. Nowadays I am F&B manager and it wouldn't be possible without this experience. 🙏🏼💖 Thank you Sammy for your kindness and support, for welcoming me at your restaurant and let me live my dream of exploring Danish food culture as part of your team. Looking forward to be back to CPH to say hello, as well as to dine in! 🍷🇩🇰

The dish with mushrooms (I think it's a starter) and the one with fish and kale were spectacular! I could have repeated these dishes a thousand times!! I liked the others, some a little more, others a little less. I don't know if it's common in Danish cuisine, or because I'm not used to it, but it seemed to me that there was a repetition of acidity on the menu. The presentation of the dishes and the service are truly incredible! All the dishes look super attractive and the waiters are attentive and cordial. They don't interrupt you but they are attentive to you. Since the sequence lasts approximately 4 hours, they have remarkable know-how and attention! The wine was also very good.

Dining at the Kokkeriet Michelin-starred restaurant was an exceptional experience. The menu showcased culinary artistry, with beautifully presented dishes bursting with incredible flavors. The impeccable service, refined ambiance, and attention to detail made it a truly unforgettable dining adventure. Dishes of the night - wagyu beef and langustine.

One word: Amazing Having had not one but a couple of special requests for the dinner, which was a special occasion, they all have been met exceptionally and beyond my expectations. All the staff have been sincerely kind and delivered an excellent service. The taste and presentation of the food has been amazing. The wine pairing was adventures and on point with the menu. A truly wonderful evening to remember. Looking forward to dine here again when in Copenhagen !
