Kraes Cafe & Butik Ringkøbing-Skjern

Kraes Café is a bit hidden away, but once you find it, you immediately feel at home. We received a warm welcome and chose a table on the lovely terrace. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. I highly recommend the Kraes Burger. 👌

Despite the fact that there had been water damage and a repairman was expected, we were greeted with kindness and had a lovely lunch.

A fantastically beautiful location. A small shop on the ground floor and the café on the upper floor. It looks nice and cozy. Well... for the money you pay, I expected more. The lady who served us probably got out of bed on the wrong side? Not very friendly, stiff and curt... she couldn't even manage a smile. The Stort Stjerneskud was not prepared well. The fish had little flavor, was far too greasy, and had been sitting in the oil too long. They charged 250 DKK for the Stjerneskud, and surely better quality should be provided for that price. There are places nearby where they prepare much better quality Stjerneskud for less.

An unassuming address, but very cozy inside with a view of the harbor. Fantastic smørrebrød with particularly good salmon and crab – a real treat! Good coffee, which they even refilled.
