21/04/2026: We got a Karen Blixen platter. It was good value for money, and we got extra bread and shrimps free of charge.

25/03/2026: We visited Rungsted Kro for the very first time today for lunch and were really looking forward to it, as we had passed by it 1,000 times and thought it was way too expensive.. But we were put to shame. It wasn't too expensive for the food. We both knew what we wanted to eat. My wife ordered a Paris steak and I had really been looking forward to a classic tartar. The Paris steak was perfect, just the right amount of spice, not too much and not too little. The side dishes were the usual and in good quantities. The classic tartar was just as perfect in my eyes and it was big, as in I couldn't eat more... other than a small lovely apple cake and a cup of coffee to finish. The most important thing was the unbeatable service we received from our waiter Jasmin. If it hadn't been for the friendliness and professionalism we encountered from her, the meal would have been rated 3 big stars. But Jasmin, with her smiles and helpfulness, got 7 big stars from us, so a perfect average of 5 stars for Rungsted Kro today. Thank you, Jasmin, for making our first visit memorable.
