Kuplen - Cafe-Restaurant-Bar Herning

Today, it has become Resturant Kuplen in Herning to have tested their steak sandwich with sauce. We arrived exactly at 11.15, were nicely and politely shown to a table with a nice view. After that, exactly 16 minutes passed before we were allowed to order, they were a bit pressed with some company. But the order was placed at 11.31 and immediately we could hear the kitchen start to sizzle. The food was served exactly at 11.47 and my first thought was that it looked a little small and the sauce definitely did not look like a brown sauce. The bun is a standard brioche bun which is finely toasted and tastes as it should. The steak is super delicious and almost perfect, it has a super delicious roast crust and is perfectly pink fried, it tastes wonderful and is seasoned appropriately with salt and pepper. In terms of quantity, I think the steak is 180 grams. Lovely and delicious. Beetroots taste suspicious of our friends from Beauvais, whereas the pickled cucumbers are definitely home-pickled and taste wonderful and sour. In addition, there are raw red onions, pre-made roasted onions as well as ketchup mustard and remoulade. The sauce is not what I would call a brown sauce, it was a pepper sauce, it tasted great and with strong elements of pepper flavor without it tipping over. I thought the sauce tasted great even though it was lukewarm and there was far too little of it. Now remember steak sandwiches with lots of sauce. It costs DKK. 110.- you can also get french fries for plus DKK. 20.- I thought the price was really strong, the food is also delicious, but it's such a shame that you don't go all in with making all the ingredients homemade, there is so much potential. We would love to come again for delicious food at a very good price. Gets 3.5 out of 5 stars as more homemade ingredients are missing.
