Kystens Perle, located at Bådehavnsvej 10 in Aalborg, is known for its cozy atmosphere by the marina and offers traditional Danish food. The restaurant has been in existence for almost 100 years and has a capacity of 190 dining places, divided into both indoor and outdoor areas. The menu includes classic dishes such as starfish, Parisian steak and roast pork with parsley sauce. Prices vary; for example, a shooting star costs DKK 149, while roast pork is available for DKK 139. Friendly service, but the place needs modernisation. Is like stepping into a time warp and not in a good way. The quality of the food does not live up to expectations in relation to the price. Fries where they taste a lot of the oil and semi-dry burger buns which unfortunately are clearly industrial. Ok authentic Danish food experience in maritime surroundings if we were in 1970+ but nowadays the food is unfortunately closer to a grill bar or a hot dog stand. The quality of the food and the price for this unfortunately do not harmonize at all. The staff were very attentive and friendly, although the kitchen could not live up to the expectations of such a well-established restaurant.

If you want to enjoy yourself old-school and right by the quayside, then Strandpavillionen / Kystens Perle is just that - a pearl in Aalborg 😀 now that the cold can be felt outside, we went indoors for a four-evening beer in the cozy and well-visited restaurant's inn 🍻 where the well-dressed female waiters manages every order and detail 🥇🤓 Grimbergen Double beer and then an Irish coffee was taken with great pleasure and the special sailing atmosphere that comes with the historic eatery for people on the quayside and on the coast 🧜‍♂️🧜‍♀️ all from a time when most things were made of wood and sailcloth ⚓️⛵️Here we spent a few hours with our hearts, with a desire to tell stories and roaring laughter from the bottom of our stomachs 🏆 The next time is already booked - namely Christmas lunch 🎄🍴😊 thank you so much, you beautiful waiters from Perlen - how well you do!

Late lunch for two. House Burger + Fried Fish. Food mediocre and not really warm. There must have been something left before it was served. Burger seemed prepared, very well done and dry, bacon dried out but not really crispy. Cheese also dried out. Fresh side salad. Fries very dark, lukewarm. Overall atypical for DK, mildly spiced. Fish burnt on the ends, otherwise OK. Service quite friendly. We wouldn't come back.

Very very cozy place with really good food
