Cozy brunch place with delicious food

The drinks are great. The jokes are to die for. The employees have great stories to tell, all you gotta do is ask. Also one of them looks like Bruce Banner (the Mark Ruffalo one). Ask him about chemisty

Unpleasant experience today, we just wanted ice cream, Sushi ice cream place next door was still closed so we tried “The Spot”. Probably new employee was taking our order, first red flag 🚩 we had feeling that we bother her. Her supervisor mentioned that they are well known for big scoops. I am adding a picture so everyone can see the “big scoops” paying for 2 ice creams 125dk. (3 scoops) She didn’t even listen to him and after so many failed attempts to scoop that ice cream, she gave us mini scoops. I was shocked and asked the supervisor if he thinks that this is worth 125dk. At least he agreed that we are right and they accidentally overcharged us. He gave us 45dkk back mentioning that Denmark is expensive. I never experienced tiny scoops like that for the past 10 years living in Denmark. Not mentioning extra 5dkk for waffle cone. The only positive was that ice cream was good and supervisor was dealing with the situation in the right manner.

We loved this place. The service was beyond friendly, the food and drinks were tasty, the atmosphere was cozy. There is a green house with tables, chairs and kids books in the backyard and additional outside seating under the awning in case it rains. We spent in Denmark only 3.5 days and out of all places we’ve eaten and had coffees in through the country, this turned out the best! The man who greeted us (most likely the owner) was super friendly. Seems as though he knew pretty much everyone who walked in after us. This is a very friendly neighborhood place that i wish we had nearby where we live.

An exceptional place! The service was top-notch, and everyone was incredibly kind and friendly. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming that it genuinely feels like having breakfast at home with family. The food was outstanding, the cinnamon rolls were incredible, and the coffee was absolutely delicious. It honestly felt like being back at my grandmother’s house in Italy. I really, really can’t recommend this place enough. An absolute gem!
