La Cabra was quite busy when we visited on a Friday morning, which meant a long queue to order and a considerable wait for our food. The staff were friendly, but service could have been more efficient during the rush. The menu is fairly limited, so there aren’t many options to choose from, and we found the prices to be very high for what is offered. The atmosphere has a very eclectic, almost esoteric feel that won’t appeal to everyone, especially with the loud and unusual music playing while we were there. That said, the quality of the food was excellent. The bread was the best I’ve had in Denmark, and the croissants were incredibly fresh. If you don’t mind the wait and the premium prices, it’s still worth a visit for the bakery alone.

It's a bakery with a wide variety of pastries. I really liked the atmosphere; it looks very clean and well-maintained, and it's always busy, which is a good sign that it's a trustworthy place. I bought a chocolate pastry, and it was delicious—it's become one of my favorites. I definitely recommend it; the girl who served me was very friendly.

I ordered the cardamom latte and the BMO. Starting with the latte: it was well spiced, had a really good level of sweetness, and was just incredibly smooth.
Now onto the BMO. My friend told me that when I went to Denmark, I had to try one, but at every other place I visited, nothing on the bread front really enticed me enough to order it. I kept going for saffron buns or cardamom buns instead. At La Cabra, I finally decided to order the BMO and break my BMO virginity, and oh my god, it was life changing.
I’ll admit I was skeptical. A roll with cheese and butter? How good could that really be? I’m happy to report I was completely wrong. It was seriously one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, and I think it comes down to how beautifully the bread was baked, paired with the quality of the cheese and butter.
Wow. No notes. I genuinely wish I lived close enough to have an endless supply of La Cabra’s BMOs.

Beautiful and delicious bread. The shop is just as beautiful. It's also nice that you can see the bakers at work.

Stopped by La Cabra for a quick bolle med ost, and sometimes the simplest things are enough when the ingredients are good.
The seeded bun was easily the highlight. It had a crisp, well-baked crust with plenty of texture from the seeds, while the inside was soft and airy. The butter added a nice layer of richness without overpowering the bread, and the cheese complemented everything with a clean, full flavour. Even so, the bun was definitely the star of the combination.

I’ve been here many times. The bakery is great, but the staff lacks people skills. Last time there were no other customers and the girl working there was unpacking something. Instead of saying hi or at least acknowledging me, she ignored me. I left after a minute. Coffee Collective is just around the corner and they sell very nice croissants/bread from another excellent Aarhus bakery, David Breadhead. Much friendlier service.
The Croissant and Pain au chocolat was really delicious! Great bakery atmosphere! Will return.

So this was suggested to us by Gemini as selling the best Kanelsnurren in the city. We'd been travelling around on a cruise and having one in each city. Unlike other stops where we'd been directed to coffee shops this is really a bakery, the buns really were excellent but if google sends you this way just bear in mind it's takeout.
