Delicious food and excellent service

Visited the place with my wife. Booked a table via Google Maps and it just worked. Upon arrival, they tried to accommodate our wishes for a table by the window and we got that (Sunday). In general, the service was top notch; actually impressively good and better than expected from the two young waitresses who served us. They were both very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the food and we almost felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant (which was well visited). Big kudos to their service level and not least to the kitchen. We ordered a 'menu 3' and thus got a really delicious shrimp cocktail, 250g ribeye steak cooked perfectly (rare) and a lovely desert. Plus a bottle of red wine. It was really good. The place is super cozy and the same is the street outside. I think we will come again 🌞

Exceptional Danish food. A must for anyone, like us, who is travelling to Denmark and wants some local food.

Our food was delicious and the staff was very friendly! We had the salmon tartar, tenderloin w/mushrooms and brownie for dessert. It was all presented beautifully and the flavors were outstanding. Our friends had the pork belly and white fish, both equally as delicious.

Restaurant Kalas delivers really nicely prepared food in quiet surroundings. The service is good and attentive, so you feel welcome. A really nice place if you want a relaxed and good dining experience.

Had a delicious Danish meal and a wide selection of beers.

Er had classic Smoerebroed one with shrimp and one with salmon. Both tasted very good and the desserts were also nice. We had a rubarb crumble and a white Mousses. As a summary, if we every get back here to Aarhus, we will definitly get back and Taste the rest of the menu.
