Flew all the way from Malaysia, and walked all the way here as this was recommended by my local colleague as a MUST TRY, disappointed because I only ate one 🥲 This is so good, it’s buttery, warm, soft and fragrant, it’s perfect with a cup of coffee. ❤️🙏 Now that Im back to Malaysia, I truly miss this.

Delicious iced cardamom coffees. The cheese and bun is amazing, and surprisingly very filling. The almond croissant was great too! Definitely one of my favorite spots in Århus. As if it couldn’t get any better, the indoor and outdoor spaces were amazing and the staff is so kind!

Quite possibly the best cinnamon roll in the world! The full breakfast is very tasty and filling. Must visit in Aarhus!

A lovely spot for great coffee, a light snack, and a slow moment in the city. The café has a warm, cozy feel and captures that Danish idea of hygge perfectly — simple, relaxed and inviting. Ideal for catching up with a friend, taking a quiet break, or sitting down with a book and letting time slow a little. The only thing to keep in mind is that it can get very busy during peak times, so expect a heavy queue if you visit at popular hours. Still, the atmosphere, coffee and overall experience make it well worth a visit.

26/06/2026: An unforgettable experience from start to finish. We visited Basso on our wedding day, and everything was simply perfect. The food was absolutely incredible every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. But what truly made the evening special was the exceptional service from Sophia and her colleague. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel celebrated. As a lovely surprise, they placed a Danish flag on our table to mark our wedding day. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to us and made the evening even more memorable. We enjoyed every single dish, every moment, and felt truly welcomed throughout the entire experience. Thank you for helping make such an important day in our lives even more special. We would gladly return and highly recommend Basso to anyone visiting Aarhus
