Piccolina Aarhus

The pizzas were delicious. It was interesting that they didn't have olive oil as a pizza dressing. Other than that, we were satisfied.

Amazing pizza! Personally I love when the dough is thin and crispy, and nowadays in the world taken over by "Neapolitan pizza" it is a real treasure to find a place that makes authentic italian pizza in a different style. We sat outside, even though there is some car traffic, we had a lovely time - the view of Aarhus Domkirke on one side and the harbour on the other in an evening sun - real pleasure. The place smells amazing inside, and they play italian radio station - you really feel that they care to create an authentic vibe. The staff was really nice and they seemed LGBTQ friendly :) .

It's a fantastically lovely place with a view of the water. The food is super good at reasonable prices.

Hi everyone, I'm Leonardo Vaccarella. After 3 years, my partner and I returned to Denmark from the Piccolina restaurant to try its excellent pizza. As usual, the welcome was excellent and the staff were very kind, and we spent only €50.

While in Denmark, I discovered this restaurant and pizzeria, Piccolina. I was greeted with great warmth and kindness, and enjoyed a delicious pizza. I will definitely be back. Bruna C.

Fantastic, lovely experience. 🌹 Everything was good. The pizza tasted wonderful. Crispy and delicious. The best ingredients. And the right thickness. The best pizzas we have ever tasted.🍕🥂 We ate it all with gusto. The wine tasted wonderful and was served in a nice carafe. The service was top notch. The sweetest staff with a smile and a twinkle in their eye. We were welcomed when we arrived. 🌞 They came by periodically and asked if everything was okay, which we could confirm to a large extent. The owner Salvo walked around and talked to the guests. 🌹 At Piccolina there is a really authentic Italian atmosphere. We felt transported to warmer climes. Beautiful Italy.🌞 Guests were coming all the time and the conversation was going on. We spoke to a young couple with two children. They said they came often. They liked the food, the staff, the place and the atmosphere. One comment was that Salvo loves children. It was clean and tidy everywhere. The tables were washed after each visit. 👍 The location is absolutely top notch. Right by the harbor where we strolled for a long walk after the delicious food and we were lucky enough to have both entertainment and school ships from all over the world. Piccolina is a restaurant we would recommend to family, friends and acquaintances. 👍🥰. We will definitely visit Piccolina again when we come to Aarhus. It will be our regular restaurant in Aarhus from now on. Absolutely top notch. 🌹 We love the story of why the restaurant is called Piccolina. It says so on the website and on the menu. ❤️. I came there suggested by good options, but frankly didn't expected it would be so good! Pizza is delicious, the cheese has a perfect taste and structure, everything is greatly composed and spiced. Additionally you can drink a really good beer. The staff is very friendly and efficient: they're rather running than walking! I think it's one of the best places I ever ate pizza! 5/5 - fully deserved!

Excellent pizza. The dough/crust is very tasty. The burrata was quite fresh. We split a pizza - it was enough for us. Not much in the way of salads for a starter. The gorgonzola focaccia was very good, but be aware that the focaccia dough is the same as the pizza dough.

There are five vegan and one vegetarian option. The pizzas were generously topped and delicious. One of the restaurants that stayed open late. Friendly service. Centrally located: between the cathedral and the harbor. Cafés and bars are within easy walking distance.

Absolutely fantastic pizzas and a lovely atmosphere. Service always good and smiling, and always feels welcome.
