This place seriously surpassed my expectations. The music was amazing. We listened to Alice Carreri and Martin Schack quartet and it was one of the best jazz concerts I've been to. Exceptional solos and musicians are very sociable and warm. I went there at around 19:45 to get in line (for a 21:00 show), and it was already pretty packed inside by 20:20. Do go early.

Jazz Bar with a cozy, intimate vibe. Staff are welcoming and keep things running smoothly. Well worth a wait for a bar, standing room spot if you don't have a scheduled event.

Small place, limited seating. We happened to be there on a Friday night and there was live music. If the place is full, they don't let you in, but they'd play for an hour, then take a 30-minute break. Between shifts, someone was leaving, so we managed to get in. They don't offer table service.

We visited La Fontaine during our short trip to Copenhagen and it was definitely a highlight. The atmosphere is super relaxed with a very cool jazz vibe. The live music was fantastic and made the evening really special. Very authentic, very charming, a perfect spot to experience Copenhagen’s musical side. Highly recommended!

The juices and bowls are vibrant and taste genuinely good, not just “healthy.” Service is easygoing, and the place has a light, playful vibe that fits perfectly in Copenhagen’s creative food scene. Great for a quick recharge or a sunny morning start.
09/10/2025: I've visited this place several times, and almost every time, they were out of something. Most often it was ice, then once they finally had ice, they were out of chai. On Sundays or later in the afternoon, they’re usually low on pastries or completely out. The chai and coffee are good, but after a while, I stopped going. It’s frustrating to keep showing up only to find key items unavailable.
