La Grande Café, Pizza & Steak House Thisted

Great place for the whole family! We were two adults and three children and everyone had a really good experience. Friendly staff and tasty food the kids loved the pizzas.

Really good experience! We were two couples who had a nice evening at La Grande in Vorupør. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed. A place we can highly recommend – we would love to come again!

Like La pizza in Hanstholm, the food is fantastic. Here, the same team is behind it, and they have chosen an equally delicious spot. We have enjoyed a wide selection of sharing dishes and a delicious red wine at sunset and great company.

The pizza we had was terribly dry, there wasn't much cheese and the ham was so dry. We've had better.

Well...the pizza was okay, nothing special, but a solid pizza, as it should be. The ambiance is quite "sterile" for my taste; a little "hygge" certainly wouldn't hurt. The service was nice. Unfortunately, the "Stjerneskud" dish was a complete disappointment – ​​no bread under the fried plaice fillets, no steamed fish, no smoked salmon, and even the crab was initially forgotten and served in a separate bowl. No sauce/retoulade whatsoever (of course, there was no bread under the fish either) and the breading on the fish was rock hard in places. The fish itself was perfectly fine. Well, it's our own fault, you might think; who orders a fish dish at a pizzeria anyway? But I thought this local specialty would be perfectly prepared in every place that serves it. Wrong. What a shame. All in all, we certainly won't be coming back.

The food was okay. The place was completely empty, and our small order still took a whopping 32 minutes. There were two cooks working in the back. We ordered takeout. Unfortunately, one portion of fries was missing from our burgers.

Delicious and well-filled pizzas. Nice manager who also speaks Dutch. The only thing we missed was some music in the restaurant.
