Very tasty, great selection even in the afternoon, friendly staff

During our vacation in Copenhagen, we chose Lagkagehuset for breakfast since the place we were staying (City Hub) didn't have it on-site. The place is cozy, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Their pastries are fresh and delicious, so much so that we returned the next day to try more. We opted for the more traditional ones paired with bread and butter. Highly recommended!

Always nice to come by Lagkagehuset. There was a good selection of bread and cakes, and everything looked fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly even though it was a bit busy, and I got my order quickly. The coffee tasted good and the roll was crispy and freshly baked. The prices are a bit high but the quality is also up to par. I would come again.

Lagkagehuset – Copenhagen More of a bakery than a café, and that's the beauty of it. Lagkagehuset doesn't need much fuss: walk in and the counter full of bread, pastries, and baked goods does half the job. We barely saw any actual dishes, but there were several sandwiches that looked decidedly inviting, the kind that make you hungry even if you'd just come in for a coffee. The highlight, however, remains the bakery: beautiful to look at, fragrant, and above all, delicious. The atmosphere is modern, Nordic, and fairly basic, without too much of the pretentiousness of a posh Copenhagen bakery where sometimes it seems like the design matters more than the food you eat. Here, however, they get down to business: bread, pastries, coffee, a few sandwiches, and off you go. A simple but well-done break, perfect while touring Copenhagen. It may not be the little secret bakery known only to four bearded Danes on vintage bicycles, but Lagkagehuset certainly knows its stuff.

One of the better chain bakeries in my opinion. I absolutely love their kanelstang.

The best breakfast option at Cityhub if you want to get a good, filling meal.

I had matcha with blueberry here; I found it tasted quite artificial. What a shame! The coffee was good though, and it was nice that you could grab a piece of cake to go with your drink. I didn't buy any pastries, but they did look delicious!

Friendly staff. The coffee and pastries are delicious, and the price-performance ratio is reasonable for Copenhagen.
