Lagkagehuset Tårnby

We discovered Lagkagehuset a bit late during our stay in Copenhagen. We passed by a few of their city locations — all looking very nice and well-designed — but only had the chance to try their cardamom bun at the airport branch before leaving. The pastry was very good, well made and nicely balanced. Based on what we tasted and saw, we’re definitely curious to come back and try more next time we’re in town. A place worth keeping in mind for a future visit.

Make amazing sandwiches and their coffee is good but they are very expensive.

It’s expensive, $7.50 USD for a small latte, but I guess it is what it is! The Iced Latte was mostly ice for $9.00 USD. By far the biggest rip-off in Denmark, unfortunately our last impression before heading to Norway. Service was good though.

Tried the coffee here while waiting before boarding at the airport—got curious because there are so many of these stores. The cappuccino is delicious, though a bit pricey. But definitely worth a try!

Very nice pastry and coffee shop located right outside the SAS lounge right past passport control. Many choices of coffee’s teas and other drinks. Lots of pastry choices also. I went with the cappuccino and cinnamon swirl and it was very delicious.
