Yes it's expensive, but it's so damn good! We go every day of our holiday every year, really great bakery.

A lovely bakery chain with consistently good quality. We're particularly fond of the Direktørsnegl (pictured on the left), which is heavy but very tasty and highly recommended.

Pasteles sabrosos y consistentes cada vez que estoy de humor para algo dulce. Mi favorito es un direktørsnegl. También hacen bocadillos de relleno, aunque creo que podrían innovar un poco más aquí ya que su oferta no ha cambiado en años. También odio cómo con su laksmouse o atún, el relleno siempre se exprime antes de que puedas comerlo.

The young staff was incredibly friendly while being very fast. - if I owned a restaurant I try and steal the staff from here. Many people where coming in but no line developed. The pastry and sandwich was fresh and delicious.

The first LagkageHus in the bulding know as the lagkage due to its colours. Quick service despite main customers / had an BMO - however the O (chess) was not interesting - the roll the B was good

Mi esposa y yo paramos en Lagkagehuset Bakery durante nuestro viaje a Copenhague el verano pasado. Compramos una barra de pan de trigo pesado para el desayuno y para sándwiches en nuestro Airbnb. El pan era bueno con un poco de gelatina local para el desayuno y los sándwiches también eran buenos con queso local.

08/06/2025: I had the pleasure of meeting with the pastry chef to design a cake for my husband’s birthday, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! From the start, she listened carefully to my ideas and needs — including the number of guests and the fact that I would be traveling to Skåne. She thoughtfully suggested freezing the cake to ensure it would be perfect and fresh the next day, which was such a smart and helpful tip. The flavors were outstanding: a light vanilla sponge paired with a luscious raspberry mousse filling and a refreshing lemon topping. I gave her creative freedom with the design, and she truly delivered — the cake was cute, elegant, and had a beautiful summer berry twist that perfectly matched the occasion. Not only was the cake delicious, but the entire family absolutely loved it! If you’re looking for a custom-made cake that tastes as amazing as it looks, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!
