Lagkagehuset Tårnby

We visited this Lagkagehuset branch at the airport. Despite a slightly longer wait, the visit was positive overall. Of course, it's a larger bakery chain with locations throughout Denmark, but the quality is pleasingly consistent. The bread, pastries, and coffee are reliably good and seem freshly prepared. Especially at the airport, where the selection of truly good bakeries is rather limited, Lagkagehuset is definitely a good option. If you're looking for something decent for breakfast, a snack, or coffee, you can't go wrong here. Even if it takes a while, the visit is worthwhile – primarily because of the consistently solid quality. We would definitely stop by again and can therefore highly recommend this bakery.

Lagkagehuset is a Danish bakery chain known for its pastries and sandwiches. I found their products ok, nothing to die for. Everything is ready there, nothing feels fresh or is hot. Maybe if you are there very early things taste fresher. The order is super easy and fast in self-service machines, then the order is kind of slow, especially considering that everything is there ready. Prices are ok.

Delicious assortment of danishes, pastries, sandwiches along with coffee and juices. Food is beautiful and tastes great. Service is friendly and helpful. Vegan options are available. They have some seats but always full. People complaining about prices but all food in Denmark is expensive. It’s actually no more than in town just Scandanavia is expensive. Good though.

The coffee is terrible, small Americano with 1 extra espresso shot. Looks and tastes like water, NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Adjust reciepies.

Compared to stores, sweet snacks are cheap.

I bought a gingerbread iced latte and a chocolate bun. There was way too much sirup in the coffee for my taste, but the bun was alright. They had order screens, which was nice and I got my order quite fast.

I ordered a mocha and a chocolate bun. The bun was a bit dry, and the mocha was just okay, nothing special. But the place had nice «outdoor» seating and a very central location. The best part is that they open at 04:15, which is perfect for travelers who are out early.
