A lovely experience. Fresh and good welcome, fantastic service, where all the waiters went the extra mile to provide a good experience. Chose an eight course menu which was from start to finish a taste experience. Can only be recommended.

10 out of 5. Everything’s a homerun. Food, wine, service, music. I’ll be back in 2 weeks when the new menu drops. Jesus Christ it’s good. Get the menu.

Thanks for the nice visit I had their three course lunch menu and it was really good. All three dishes were absolutely phenomenal innovation and creativity at its best. Meticulous understanding of details, connection between ingredients and composition. Service was in an informal and relaxed atmosphere In addition, there is the most beautiful view of the lake The restaurant is small so remember to book a table. And an ordinary soda does not exist how restaurant.

Nice lunch menu. Not sure if the use of roe in all three dishes was necessary, a bit more variety would have been even better.

We visited EMPTY THE LAGO on their first night with concepts on Saturday. And what an experience!! We had no idea what we were getting into, but were surprised in the best way. So if you are in need of a fun night in good company and with good food, try their new Saturday concept. And a special thanks to Oscar our waiter, he couldn't have done it better ❤️

02/09/2025: I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the ice cream joint Nyhvan 40 in Copenhagen, Denmark. I stopped here for an ice cream while strolling through the beautiful Nyhavn district in Copenhagen, and it was an excellent choice. I had a scoop of blackcurrant, and the flavor was incredibly intense and delicious – really well made. A great ice cream shop that I can definitely recommend if you want to enjoy both the charm of the neighborhood and a treat for the palate.
