Not a trip to Nyborg without a visit to Lauses. Today's menu consisted of the local court dish, namely a Lause's hot day. I chose the 1 with roasted sausage, pickled red and cucumber relish. It was really good. Followed up the starter with a large steak sandwich and I was certainly not disappointed. As never a pleasure. Thanks for the food....

A place we always pass by when we are on a nice drive, 2 toasts and a cocio for each, then the day is saved. 😊

The thing about toasted French hot dogs in wrappers, he knew quite a lot about that.

Ok place. Possibility to sit outside with a view of the harbour. Friendly service. The food as such is ok, but as a true North Jutland, it is a big mistake that a steak sandwich must be ordered with sauce if you want it. The choice is between brown or béarnaise sauce. A steak sandwich is only with brown sauce .. absolutely must not be ordered separately and there must be plenty of it. A small quirk or strange little feature is that cash is received in a small box and given again in the same way. Small coins are taken with tweezers from the cash register, which means a little waiting time. Probably determined from a hygienic measure.

An ok place to stop on the way through Nyborg. Not the great culinary experiences, but it is freshly prepared and well presented. Close to the harbor and with public toilets right next door. We thank you for still being there so we can get some lunch on the way. A little new thinking might be welcome, but you know what you have and that makes it quite easy for you.

Really good atmosphere, with good food. The service is fast.

We stopped by for a home-made ice cream and discovered that there was live music. It was a nice surprise! The ice cream was also good. Not extraordinary by any means but just a nice and good ice cream cone.
