It's almost too authentic French. Good was superb although on the higher side considering what's being served. Services was... border-lining nonchalant.

Nice food. The atmosphere is top notch. The restaurant is more French than the restaurants we have visited in France. Definitely worth visiting.

As always good man and an excellent service. There is a place we come to again and again, and where we like to bring guests!

Vi var 10 der prøvede lidt forskellige retter. Deres fisk, inklusive skaldyrsfad, og tavtar fik roser, mens vi var 5 der fik deres Cordon Bleu. Her lykkedes det at tilberede kalven langt fra det ønskede, og faktisk ødelægge et ellers godt stykke kalv til noget meget trist og tørt. Kartoffelfondanten i retten var super, mens det øvrige tilbehør herunder blomkål var udtalt bittert og meget mørkt i smagen. Deres Chablis Fourchaume var udsolgt, og vi sagde ja til en lidt dyrere Chablis, som efter sigende var samme stil men bedre. Det var ret forkert eftersom den var både sødlig og ufrisk i smagen. Der var ros til desserterne fra de fleste deltagere, jeg havde selv mistet lysten dertil efter oplevelsen med hovedretten. Betjeningen var so and so, måske lidt træt? Det er ellers en fint lille sted med fransk vibe, men maden virkede ret industriel denne aften desværre. Skuffende

L'Education Nationale serves real authentic French food in an atmospheric bistro setting. The staff speak both French and Danish, which adds to the authentic experience. However, it can feel rather crowded, and the acoustics could clearly be better. A good choice for French classics if you don't mind a slightly dense atmosphere.

This is pure France in Copenhagen and one of my favourite restaurants in Denmark. Absolutely authentic, spot on French menu with all the classics, executed perfectly, French staff very kind and available, high quality ingredients and the perfect hygge French atmosphere. I come here regularly to treat myself, and I always leave with a full heart and happy stomach ❤️

Hands down the best French restaurant in Copenhagen. The menu is an all-star lineup of the classics (escargots, oysters, tartare, etc), and the servings are hearty. One of the few times we went to a French restaurant in Copenhagen and didn’t feel shortchanged. Highly recommended.
