28/03/2024: After a really, really long run, actually since Palægade opened in 2016, we finally succeeded.
Sun, moon and stars were right and the occasion perfect.
A 12 year anniversary.
The wild expectations for this lunch were fulfilled.
The cozy premises created a nice and relaxed atmosphere, supported by a really competent, sweet and friendly staff.
We got:
Hand-peeled prawns on crispy toast with mayonnaise and lemon.
It was just sitting in the cupboard - the mayonnaise just ………
Stir-fried beef thigh tartar, dried tomato, tarragon cream, crispy onions and watercress
Super delicate, well balanced, nice cream, really delicious tomatoes both sour and sweet.
Palægade's dinner Pâté on chicken liver and heart, salted veal brisket, cloud and pickled beech hats
The paté was really, and for me, could turn into a really good liver pâté food.
But with the salty meat, spicy cloud and mushrooms, this version of the famous dinner has been moved up to a completely different class.

3 lovely tasty cheeses.
All in all, a really good experience - we will come back soon and try the evening menu.

27/03/2024: My expectations were probably too high, which probably made me more disappointed. The food was simply too salty. Also a bit too much mayonnaise, but that's less important.
