A quick visit, we were allowed to taste some wine by the glass. Not wines with particularly great intensity considering the price of 125 kr per glass, in terms of taste they disappeared immediately. The service was fine, but you felt that the clerk would rather be with his friends and pour wine for them...

The guy working there gave us excellent service and was also very friendly. Definitely try the almonds he served because they are from spain and they are the best almonds for snacks. I spent 2-3 hours here as a tourist but if I lived in Copenhagen I would definitely be a regular here.

Really nice service, excellent but expensive wine, a bit boring, in my opinion, decor. I would come again if I'm passing by, but I don't go only for this place.

13/06/2026: We went to a champagne tasting and it was a super nice experience. Good atmosphere. It was a good performance of the different champagnes. Funny enough, we missed some sales pitch, i.e. advertising for the purchase of snacks, the menu could possibly be on the tables. Advertising for the purchase of champagne at the end, possibly with a discount.

Would order again. • Flavor vs fire: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 4/5 – Complex & spicy. • Menu Honesty Check: ✅ Honest Heat – Menu warning was accurate. ~ I don't usually write reviews about takeaway food because I don't think it gives a fair picture of restaurants. But now I've ordered from Jais Madhus more than ten times, and it's been just as delicious every time. Most recently I ordered their panang curry with tofu – very spicy – ​​and wait, how good was it. Perfectly balanced, rich and flavorful, and the spice was just right in the cupboard. The tofu was delicious and took the flavor really well. The quality is consistently high, the food tastes authentic, and you can clearly feel the love and care behind the dishes. Jais Madhus is without a doubt one of my go-to places in Copenhagen when I want really good Thai food. Highly recommended!
