Lille Nyhavn Aalborg

Small and tight place. Incredibly noisy from talking guests. Probably nice in the summer when you can sit outside. The food was good though.

After a lovely holiday in Northern Jutland with the family, our last day was spent just north of Aalborg seeing the massive Viking Graveyard at Lindholm Høje. But after a full morning of walking and reading signs, you get hungry from all that history, so we decided to try out Lille Nyhavn for lunch. Absolutely worth the visit! Beautiful pickled salad with fresh smoked Salmon and shrimp, the openfaced rye sandwiches were huge! The service was nice, the special brews were ice-cold and the sun was shining - couldn't have asked for a better lunch 😁👌

Not what it used to be, but still ok. Recent visit September 2025: Food: Ordered fish fillet and fries and open sandwiches. The open sandwiches look delicious, but are missing that last bit, to be like in the "old days". The fish fillet was ok, but the fries needed just 1 more minute. They were a bit soggy. Large, lovely portions! Service: Young, inattentive and untrained. Price vs. quality: I'm no longer as much of a fan as I used to be. Price and quality are still ok, but are missing that last bit. Lethargic and inexperienced service drags me down. Will we come again? Yes, we probably will. But it doesn't drag like before. Visit 2 years ago: Super cozy little place! Service: Friendly and attentive. Food: Super delicious. We had shooting stars and open sandwiches. Huge open sandwiches! Both are highly recommended. Fresh ingredients are used, and some of them are homemade. Drinks: Nice selection of organic juices. I think the draft beer selection could be a little wider. Price vs. quality: You get quality for your money, and it's not expensive at all. I highly recommend this cozy little place. If we come again... Yes, we definitely will.

Unfortunately not open today due to another event!! First found out when we came for lunch.! The place was researched beforehand, maps, own website etc first.
