If you’re looking for a proper, no-nonsense pub with all the charm and atmosphere you’d expect, this place delivers on every level. From the moment you step inside, the dark oak interior and deep green tones set the mood. It’s got that classic, cozy tavern feel—complete with a few old-timers nursing their pints at the bar. The menu stays true to its roots, offering well-executed pub classics with a side of danish, but what really stands out is the beer selection. With over 70 different beers available, there’s something for every taste, whether you’re into craft brews, limited edition styles or just want a solid pint of lager. For food, we went with stone bite roe, Wiener schnitzel, and tartare with all the fixings. Honestly, the quality was well beyond what you’d expect from a pub. Everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and generously portioned. The only hiccup was that the starter and main arrived at the same time, which meant I ended up eating my main alone. A quick check-in from the server on timing would have solved that, but overall, the service was friendly, attentive, and added to the welcoming vibe of the place. Price-wise, it’s in line with what you’d expect in Copenhagen, but the portion sizes are a pleasant surprise—definitely bigger than anticipated. All in all, a great visit. If you’re after a classic pub experience with better-than-expected food and a killer beer selection, this spot is well worth a stop.

good food, good service, good atmosphere - fantastic!

Such an authentic pub environment - totally brought back my time in London in the 90's. Just the smell of food and good beer when you walk in the door... The beer is well poured and the food was good. Can only be recommended.

A gem hidden on Godthåbsvej! Here oozes cosiness, presence and good old-fashioned personal service. The food was tasty, the service top notch and you could easily get a laugh and a smile from the smiling and humorous waiter! Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a classic Danish meal.

I have both eaten and tasted their good beer many times. The food is homemade and always of a high quality, and their beer selection is good and changes regularly. Service was as always top notch.

Perfect place for Frokost, attentive waiter, super tasty food and very well poured schnapps. We always enjoy coming here - highly recommended.
