Louisiana Cafe Fredensborg

A restaurant located inside the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. It has indoor and terrace seating, with the terrace being more popular. If you don't like the heat, indoor seating is recommended. I ordered the fish and seafood plate for lunch, and was surprised by the generous portion size. I was able to enjoy fresh seafood to my heart's content. The staff provided kind and attentive service.

The only dining option at the museum and a small menu, but still good selection of food and lots of drinks. So much seating, indoors or outdoors, all around.

Lots of people and sometimes slow service, but they are trying pretty hard.

First you need a ticket to get into the cafe, fair warning. Second it is very expensive as any pastry was over 65, and of you wanted a glass of wine it was around 180. The service is ok, but nothing special given the price. The view is what you are paying for!

Nice restaurant with a beautiful view and very nice service. The food was ok.

The view and atmosphere are nice. However, among the desserts, the strawberry cake looked pretty, but it was questionable whether it could really be called a cake, as it consisted of about 97% strawberry mousse and 3% cake layers. Cutlery such as forks was piled up on every table, and quite a few appeared to have not been properly washed.

It was spacious, but the seats filled up very quickly at lunchtime. I think that's because there aren't many other places to eat around the museum. The food was average.

Had smoked trout and iced coffee. Decent lunch. Fast service despite lots of customers. I like how they manage the cutleries including hand sanitizer on the table so aesthetically. The view to the sea from the restaurant was sooting.

The atmosphere is great and the service is friendly! The food comes out pretty quickly, and they especially filled the tub with ice, which was perfect for making an iced Americano. Hehe ☕️ However, it would probably be better to go early and enjoy the cafe early! It gets crowded. The outdoor area is great if the weather is nice ~ 💕

Wonderful location with fantastic views over the water and parts of the sculpture park. Friendly staff and a nice selection of drinks, pastries and simple Danish food. Prices are a bit high, but the overall experience with the beautiful setting, the view and a visit to the well-curated museum made it well worth the money.
