We had the sea bass (fillet) - absolutely delicious and very tender, with potatoes in a lemon butter sauce. Simply amazing!

Restaurant Lygten in Hvide Sande comes highly recommended. The owners are incredibly friendly, and the food is consistently excellent! We come here every year for an evening meal and always feel very welcome. An absolute must for all fish lovers: the fish soup as a starter :). The premium fish platter is also always a highlight. They often have turbot. This year I tried wolffish, and it was also superbly prepared. We're already looking forward to next year! See you soon!

We were there with the whole family. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere, the service was very friendly and always up for a laugh. The food was delicious! We had various fish dishes, including turbot as the daily special. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Pleasant atmosphere, very friendly service. The food is incredibly delicious. It really invites you to linger. I wrote this a few years ago. Irena is still the best server, and her husband still cooks with heart. Book in advance, and you won't regret it.

Simply delicious, absolutely amazing! We've driven past it many times and today we finally made it... Fish soup as a starter, turbot as a main course, and pancakes for dessert to round it all off... absolutely fantastic. We're already looking forward to October, thank you so much!

19/08/2026: This fishmonger with a snack bar was the perfect finishing touch to my Danish holiday. I wanted authentic, local fish, and that's exactly what I got! The staff were incredibly efficient, and there was absolutely no wait. Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. We enjoyed a beer from the brewery next door, sitting comfortably on the wooden benches and savoring our tasty meal. We'll definitely be back, because there's so much more to try! 😊
17/08/2026: Very tasty and well-prepared fish and delicious remoulade. The fries were okay, I would have preferred them salted, but that varies from country to country. Unfortunately, you can only eat outside, where the seagulls lurk. But that's always the case at beachside snack bars 😊
