Grate place with amazingly sweet people running it. The beer selection is fantastic and a clear invitation for a second visit Food is delicious I’d recommend to let yourself be guided. Comme in, ask for a beer that fits your mood and go along from there on.

I stayed two nights in Frederikshavn on my Jutland bike tour, and from the vast choice of places to eat, I chose Madbaren13 because I liked the name. And I went back the next night. Excellent food, top-notch ingredients, an enviable selection of beers, and the owners—the husband and chef, and the wife—are truly special. If I ever return (and I hope so), I'll definitely visit again! Well done.

Madbaren NO 13 is always worth a visit👌 Really good rustic food with a twist you won't find anywhere else. Everything from steak, burgers to desserts. North Jutland's wildest beer list is here, 180 different beers from all over Europe, if you're into exciting brews, Madbaren NO 1 is the place to be. The service of the sweet hostess is always with a smile and laughter that is contagious 😍 the chef works magic in the kitchen and we have always had good food experiences when we visit Madbaren👍 We give the warmest recommendations to me and my wife 🤗

We discovered this place on our way back to Aalborg. We were honestly surprised to eat one of our best Cheeseburgers. The Burger was a piece of art. The brioche bun was fresh and soft, the aged Angus beef worked well together with the pickles, cheese and the home made sauce. You could slice this little masterpiece without making it falling apart. The fries were served Belgium style with a homemade truffle sauce. The icing on the cake was the fine selection of different craft beers (four on tap). Well done!

Thanks for the food! We have had so many bad experiences with Steaks but NOT here, finally someone who knows their stuff and doesn't compromise on the quality of their ingredients. Our first thought when we saw the menu was that we definitely had to try the brown sauce with potato chips (why don't more have that on the menu) it was crazy good with a good beer. Great to experience that you can think outside the box ;) even though we are very into olives etc. we just had to try this... We were more than full and at a very reasonable price! The only thing I can put my finger on was the butter on top of the steak, I thought it leaned too much in a curry direction and wouldn't have been necessary when the steak and bearnaise were as delicious as they were, right there there were too many flavor combinations involved, but that's probably a matter of taste :) High recommendation from here, we will definitely come back. We were so eager to get started with dinner that we didn't get any pictures but the presentation and appearance were perfect!

The restaurant is incredibly dog-friendly and has cushioned seats and chew toys for your four-legged companions. They also have a wide selection of beers, and the food is delicious. We had dinner here while waiting for our ferry and highly recommend it to any dog ​​owner. Important information: Food is only served until 8:00 PM.

Great service! The food came quickly and was super delicious. Had a lovely steak sandwich and the famous sticky toffee. On top of that, the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended!

A truly wonderful place with a charming, friendly staff who really love dogs. The food (we had burgers) was fantastic. We felt very comfortable and very welcome.
