Madglad is a cozy and relaxed place. There was a calm atmosphere, where parents, among other things, came in with their children - maybe picked up from the kindergarten next door? Several also picked up take-away, so it is clear that the place is popular with locals. It's a little out of the way if you don't know the area, but it's definitely worth a visit.

Very informal but welcoming environment. Good food and very friendly staff.

My wife and I dropped by for dinner a Tuesday in January 2025 with our grown up daughter. You order and get your food at the “reception” and then either bring your food home to eat or go to the dining area and eat there. We ate at the dining area. Plenty of room for a lot of people. You can choose from 2-3 main courses that area served with a slice of bread and some salad (5-8 to choose from). You also choose your beverage when you order your food. The food this evening was Shepherds Pie and Italian bean stew. Bot dishes were very delicious - we preferred the pie over the stew - but it was a close call. You pay 110 DKK for a main meal which seems very fair. Definitely a place to visit when in the area.

A wonderful place. Home-made, unique, healthy, varied food. Well seasoned. Solid portions. Food fresh. You can choose from the daily menu and choose the perfect salads, including spreads, e.g. hummus, eggplant ganesh. The service is very nice, the gentleman is lovely and gives this place a warm, homely atmosphere. The place itself has tables with benches for several people. There is room 1, room 2, and a corridor. Dirty plates and cutlery are returned last. It is colorful and charming. I love this place and will recommend it. I really feel sincerity, love and good quality in it. We paid 220 crowns for two portions of food (dhaal with rice and risotto with chicken), two bowls of salads, and two teas. We got two cakes for free. Open, Monday-Friday 16.30-20.30.

I have been here some time and I have always used the take away service. Food is good and home made. Not too salty, not too fatty, it’s something you could eat every day. Service is nice, they are friendly and happy to help. I love the take away reusable box concept and the price differentiation It’s cheap for what it serves and on absolute value for being Copenhagen. You can eat here every day without breaking the bank. They almost always have a vegan option even if they call it vegetarian.

Amazing place and very tasty food! Immediately at the entrance i was met with a friendly smile from the restaurant staff. Definitely I can recommend it. Good quality, friendly and family atmosphere and low price.

Excelente restaurante / cafetería, encontramos esto después de buscar ‘trip advisor’ de buenos lugares para comer. El menú cambia cada día, cuando visitamos había 3 opciones 2 de ellas vegetarianas. 110 dkk para la comida caliente más una ensaladera con una deliciosa variedad. El ambiente era casual, amable, relajado con un ambiente comunitario, un montón de lugareños / familias comiendo allí. El lugar no vende alcohol, pero había una buena elección de refrescos. Me encantó este lugar. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra comida - gran relación calidad-precio y comida muy sabrosa. El personal era amable, educado y extremadamente servicial. Había un par de platos en oferta y una opción vegetariana. Cada uno vino con ensaladas, pan y hummus (por 100 kr). El tamaño de la porción era generoso y si todavía tenía hambre también había una opción de postre. Interesante decoración en el restaurante. Me encantaría volver la próxima vez que estemos en Copenhague.
