A very nice and unique location near the water. The food is incredibly delicious. The staff are also friendly, taking their time with you and providing a lot of information about the food. A really good atmosphere!

Delicious food at reasonable prices! The service was really good!

We were there as a family with a toddler (1.5 years old). There was a dish for everyone (vegetarians, pescatarians, and carnivores), and everything tasted fantastic. We started with a cold pea soup and enjoyed delicious potatoes with crème fraîche as a side dish, which we especially wanted to highlight. The wait between ordering, getting our drinks, and the food being served was a bit long, but that's only a problem if the toddler is impatient.

During the two days we spent in Aarhus, this restaurant served the best food we had. The "catch of the day" fish was simply excellent, and the ribeye steak with its sauce was perfectly prepared. The prices may be slightly higher compared with other places in Aarhus, but I can definitely recommend it for the food. And as service is always an important part of the dining experience, it was also top-notch. :)

It's really delicious, varied food in nice surroundings, the service has also been good every time we've been there, and they have a fantastic menu for children❤️❤️

I have organized a company event at Madklubben. I was extremely happy with the service and the assistance I got when booking. Upon arrival, all the staff knew about the order I have placed and all restrictions that there were, so there was no additional chaos. The food was really good, I didn’t like the dessert as it was too lemony for me - but it was still tasty. The staff was super kind and had no issues communicating in English and Danish, as we were mixed group. I would recommend!

Absolutely amazing! We were a group of four traveling to Aarhus from the U.S. on business, and this was our first dinner in Denmark. The menu had a great selection of snacks and entrées, and everything we tried was delicious. What truly blew us away was the exceptional service. Our waitress was incredibly patient with all of our beginner questions and gave a fun, thoughtful presentation for each dish. Even though we arrived late, she made sure we had a chance to order everything we wanted before the kitchen closed, and we never felt rushed. Coming from the U.S., where tipping is mandatory but service is not always great, this felt like a breath of fresh air. A wonderful first dining experience in Aarhus!

Cozy atmosphere. Friendly and good service. The price is fair but not on the cheap end.

Had dinner here for my 30th birthday. Not only is the food, atmosphere and venue top notch, the service is the best. Unfortunately I didn't get our server's name, but she helped make the evening amazing ✨ Thanks for a wonderful birthday. 🫶🏼
