Madklubben København

We had a really nice evening at Madklubben Store Kongensgade 66. We were welcomed with smiles and there was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Our waiter Adam took care of everything we could wish for from start to finish, both in terms of serving food and drinks and attention to us. We enjoyed both starters, main courses and desserts. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Great food, we were there for a company party - It worked really well!

Was at Madklubben for the first time on 15/8/2025. Had heard a lot about the concept before, good prices good food etc., so expectations were if not high, then at least present. Feedback is best given according to the recipe praise-praise-praise, then people will listen from the beginning and maybe also remember after the end. So praise for really sweet, friendly, polite and unsnobbish service. Praise for, the prices may initially seem reasonable for the food, but when there is not even some kind of potatoes or other carbohydrates included with the meat dishes, it has to be ordered extra, then the price concept on the card quickly becomes a bit strained. We ordered halfway through our meat dishes, once “knuste kartofel” to share, which complemented it nicely. Knuste kartofel is the Copenhagen way of saying mashed potatoes when you are close to Kgs. Nytorv (they tasted good) I don't know if they are called “smadrede kartofel” in the Vesterbro department. But now the Jutlanders are in Copenhagen. At least dressed up. A bottle of house red wine 350,- ok. Atmosphere in the room, quite neutral and cozy, you can sit a little close between the tables when it's full. But it's definitely been much worse in other places! Praise at the end, despite the portion sizes and extra side dishes, the food was very tasty, including the dessert my wife got. And I'd like to repeat that the service was definitely top notch. Total price for 2 people, 2 main courses, + 1 time mashed potatoes, 1 dessert, tap water, and 1 bottle of house red wine. Approx. 850 kr. Now it's tried.

An atmospheric restaurant with a flexible menu that can accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions.

A lovely setting, with a subdued and calm atmosphere. The waitresses were very welcoming and kind. The dishes were good, but the quantity was minimal and simple for the slightly excessive price. You had to pay extra for a side dish. A special mention, however, goes to the mashed potatoes, which were some of the best I've ever eaten.

The restaurant is quite pleasant and atmospheric in its own way (most of the visitors seemed local to me). The cuisine has signs of ambitions for advanced, the menu is very short and this is usually a good sign. It is quite possible for the first dinner in Copenhagen. The waiters are friendly, but they will not spoil you with frequent visits, I can say the service is satisfactory. Three people ate two dishes (starter up to 100 grams and fish 200 grams all together), one salad side dish for all, drank five beers at 0.3 and paid a little more than 200 € for this. Probably inexpensive, but I can’t say that I want to visit this place again.

What can I say, truly surprising from the quality to the service to the final price!!! Excellent portions, perfect cooking and combinations, very attentive staff, in short to recommend and try again absolutely!!! Excellent tartare truly generous in quantity

Fantastic foods, prices are reasonable and modern but warm atmosphere

Les restaurants de la chaine Madklubben sont connus pour offrir des menus à des prix intéressants - mais il faut aussi savoir naviguer tous les suppléments si on va pour les quelques plats plus élaborés ou avec des ingrédients de meilleure qualité. Nous étions six personnes pour un diner d'affaires, et avons opté pour l'option de 2 ou 3 plats à 245 DKK (33 EUR) ou 275 DKK (37 EUR) sans boissons. Néanmoins ce menu ne comporte que 3 entrées et 3 plats - dont un seul plat principal végétarien. Si vous voulez les autres plats les suppléments vont de 9 à 20 EUR par plat. Le steak de 250 gr contenait bien plus de gras que de viande pour finir à un poids assez loin de 250 gr. Les asperges étaient bons mais aussi avec un supplément de 9 EUR ! Desserts étaient surtout délicieux et d'une petite taille bien équilibrée. Le service était un peu au hasard - notamment nous avons attendu très longtemps entre les entrées et les plats principaux - alors que le restaurant n'était pas très rempli. En résumé je trouve qu'avec les suppléments cela devient bien plus cher que les prix attendus et du coup les attentes doivent s'aligner là-dessus; hélas là on est un peu déçus.
