Great place for ice cream in Birkerød - ice cream and drinks are good, and it's a really nice little "patio" to sit in

A lovely, cozy ice cream shop with a really nice selection and the best chocolate ice cream I've ever tasted! Some of their other ice creams were a bit tame in taste, though, and the Baileys ice cream had a strange, almost acetone-like aftertaste – which was surprising, as I've tasted Baileys ice cream before that didn't taste like that. The staff were nice, but they could smile a little more, which would make the experience even better, but it's a small detail. Inside the shop, I noticed that there were several different menus with different content posted on different walls around the shop. This made it a bit confusing and confusing to figure out what you could order besides the classic choices like ice cream or coffee. For example, I only discovered that you had matcha lattes (with 100% matcha tea) on one of your street signs when I was on my way out of the shop – otherwise I would have ordered one if I had seen that option inside the shop. A suggestion if you experience busyness and long queues during the summer period with long waiting times could be to put a sign with all the ice cream flavours outside the café. That way people standing in line can already read the selection and make a choice before they reach the cash register. This could significantly reduce the waiting time. It could also be an advantage to include prices and the number of scoops on the sign. There is plenty of seating outside, and the prices for the ice cream are really good compared to the norm. They had several “special” flavours, which I think was really cool. I would actually give them 4.5 stars, but I can’t do that here. I can definitely recommend the place!
