Mangia København

Mangia was recommended to me by a local shop owner. He said it was the best Italian in Copenhagen. He didn't lie. I had the tortellini with ricotta & spinach. The most perfect balance of flavors you can imagine. Absolute perfection! I was 3/4 finished with the dish and was still saying aloud, "Wow!" It is that good. My friend was awed as well (don't remember what she had as I was so into my dish). The wine list is extensive, service is attentive yet not bothersome. A must go on any list & judging from the full restaurant, the locals know great Italian too. Dessert, and I'm not a dessert person, was delectable. I've had great Italian food in Italy & this is still a standout.

Great atmosphere, the starters were fantastic. We decided for the set menu at 500 dkk. The starters were both really delicious. The hand cut tartare was so tasty I had to pace myself to eat it. Pasta dishes were the highlight. The mains were, a fish dish and aubergine parm, as is often out experience a little underwhelming as if less care was put into them than the previous dishes. Desert, Tiramisu was equally delicious, a crispy component elevated the dish and reminded us of the hard shell on good savoiardi. Service was fluid and very good. The location is beautifully designed and s Noise-proofed. Kudos on the great Playlist!

We had a nice evening, but it was packed and the service was very slow (we waited 30min just to order). The food was amazing! Price as always in Copenhague, waaaay too high though.

Really delicious dishes - however, the portions are a bit small. It is as if the concept of the menu is what you are going for, because with a 5-course meal, the portions will probably fit. But if you simply order two dishes or perhaps just one, there simply isn't much. That said - as I said incredibly tasty dishes. Loved the tartar in particular, incredibly tasty ☺️ Polite service

Fik en 4 retters menu. Retterne var gode og velsmagende. Fik god vejledning i vinvalget. Hyggelig stemning. Og gode tjenere. Taler engelsk. Det må man så acceptere eller lade være. Men men......550 kr for de 4 retter er ikke i orden. Man går ud af Mangia sulten. Er ikke i orden til prisen. Øv.

Super tasty pasta and tiramisu!

We shared an anti pasto with charcuterie and each had swordfish with savoy cabbage. To this we drank orange wine and Vermentino. The food was well prepared and tasted good. Friendly service, but why don't the staff speak Danish? We didn't care for the background music, which was completely unnecessary. The sound level was generally high. The price for the main course was just over the top.

Super place! Good food atmosphere.
