Marley's Diner København

Nyhavn, 9 is a historic building built in 1681. It is one of the oldest buildings along the Nyhavn Canal and has retained its original appearance as it was not built on in the 19th century like many other buildings in the area. The house has a typical architecture of a canal house of the 17th century. The complex includes the main building, a side wing that extends from the rear of the house, a transverse wing that separates two consecutive courtyards, and a rear wing. In 1918, the building was entered into the Danish register of protected buildings and places. Throughout its history, the house has been owned by various owners, including harbormaster Kristen Christensen and master sailmaker Andreas Pedersen Sangaard. In the 19th century, the Stevns Hotel operated on the first floor of the building, which was later replaced by the Safari entertainment establishment and then Nyhavnskroen. In 1982, the building was purchased by Christel Windfeld-Lund, who does not live in it personally. Currently, the Leonora Christine restaurant is located in the basement of the building.

We had a lovely dinner at the Marlys Diner! I loved the decorations! It was very clean and nice! I had a Copenhagen Drink and it tasted good! We had two hamburgers and some fries! The menu was available both English and Danish, you can also pay credit card, Korona and euro.

Like an American cafe. We took desserts, not very good.

Food was good but the service was terrible. There was no waiter inside when we came, so it took a Long time for us to order food. Then it took 30 minutes for the food to arrive. We had to ask the waiter for our food, and there were people who arrived after us that got their food before us.

Way too expensive !💰 Nice and cozy place but the prices are overshot by a lot. The prices are lower as you move in the street and the spots are the same if not better. The chairs were heated.

Came in here last Tuesday to escape the rain and enjoy a quick bite to eat. Service was amazing and top notch. Food came quickly considering I was the only person there. I did find it hard to find someone so I could pay the bill afterwards but other than that I really enjoyed my meal

Mediocre burgers at an overpriced price

Restaurant right next to the Nyhavn tourist attraction with outdoor seating. The prices are therefore a bit higher (but not by much, Copenhagen is generally expensive for tourists), the main items are obviously burgers and American cuisine. But we tried the Danish - Stjerneskud meant a fish load, two tasty fillets with a lot of shrimp, under which toast was crouching (4/5). Egg & prawns was actually a variation on the first mentioned, only the fillets disappeared and eggs were added, hence the similar rating (4/5). The service, perhaps because we were here only in October, was quick and helpful. This is not a restaurant that I would write home about as a gastronomic experience, but a nice place for lunch or dinner in a tourist location.

Very nicely located on Nyhaven. Chicly furnished inside and out. Service friendly. Place was clean and tidy. Mac 'n cheese was delicious. Fish A chip failed because the breading was a bit too thick. But we didn't expect a gourmet temple here either. As a German tourist you can gasp at the prices. But the restaurant's prices are local in Copenhagen. Anyone who criticizes this should question a vacation in Denmark.
