An expensive pleasure, clogged toilet and perhaps a reason why there were few people there.

Original American diner. Delicious club sandwich with super good fries

Good food, value for money. Great ambience by the canal.

Very cozy place. We were lucky with good weather and good atmosphere. It was also really windy at times, so everything flew around. The food is ok. The beer was good. The service is sweet and in English. The atmosphere that is just in Nyhavn is probably the biggest draw. 🤩

Food was very tasty however got charged for tap water and for using a Revolut card! I'm guessing they make a good bit of extra money off tourists!

Nyhavn, 9 is a historic building built in 1681. It is one of the oldest buildings along the Nyhavn Canal and has retained its original appearance as it was not built on in the 19th century like many other buildings in the area. The house has a typical architecture of a canal house of the 17th century. The complex includes the main building, a side wing that extends from the rear of the house, a transverse wing that separates two consecutive courtyards, and a rear wing. In 1918, the building was entered into the Danish register of protected buildings and places. Throughout its history, the house has been owned by various owners, including harbormaster Kristen Christensen and master sailmaker Andreas Pedersen Sangaard. In the 19th century, the Stevns Hotel operated on the first floor of the building, which was later replaced by the Safari entertainment establishment and then Nyhavnskroen. In 1982, the building was purchased by Christel Windfeld-Lund, who does not live in it personally. Currently, the Leonora Christine restaurant is located in the basement of the building.

We had a lovely dinner at the Marlys Diner! I loved the decorations! It was very clean and nice! I had a Copenhagen Drink and it tasted good! We had two hamburgers and some fries! The menu was available both English and Danish, you can also pay credit card, Korona and euro.
