A very friendly welcome, a lovely table on the first floor, and all the waiters were welcoming and flexible. Great ambiance, outstanding food – the 6-course menu was a delight, and the bread was so delicious that we ordered it three times. A thoroughly enjoyable evening with wonderful hosts – we'd love to go back!

A fantastic dining experience! We truly enjoyed our dinner at Marv&Ben. I had the 6-course menu with wine pairing, and my wife had the 4-course menu. The staff were incredibly helpful, even made changes to my wife's dishes to suit her needs. All the food was excellent. The white wines in the pairing were outstanding, though I feel the red wine choices could be improved. Overall, a must-visit restaurant for anyone in Copenhagen

The tasting menu was super delicious and the wine pairing was on point. The food was a clear 5/5 but the reception of guest could be improved.
We arrived on point for our reservation, although a few other tables were already waiting for their table. For the whole waiting time there was no offer of a drink to make the experience more smooth.

Not to be missed. We had the 6-course menu (you can't go for less). The best bread I've ever tasted, without a doubt. The dishes were impressive, and the wine pairing was very well chosen. A must-do. Thank you for a pure and unforgettable experience. Bravo!

I had dinner here (may’25) while visiting Copenhagen, and I really enjoyed the whole evening.
This is the kind of restaurant where the food is more about the experience and creativity. I think unless something tastes really bad, it’s not fair to say it’s “good” or “bad” — because it depends a lot on your personal taste. Luckily, almost everything I tried was just right for me.
I chose the "Six Favourites” menu, and honestly, I loved every dish. The flavors were well balanced, interesting, and delicious.
If you're planning to go, I’d say: don’t go there super full, but also not starving. Go with a light appetite so you can enjoy each bite more clearly.
For dessert, there was a scoop of ice cream with flavors I had never tasted before — very unique, fresh, and a great way to end the meal.
Some small details really stood out to me:
The bread was amazing — warm, soft inside, lightly crispy outside. One of the best sourdoughs I’ve had.
The butter was creamy, milky, and the salty herbs on top were just right.
My favorite dishes:
Hamachi – Fresh and flavorful, with a lovely sauce.
Mushroom egg – I usually find eggs a bit risky, but this one was perfect. Creamy and worked really well with the mushrooms.
Raw meat – Super tasty, a little spicy, very thinly chopped.
Lamb with asparagus – Maybe the most classic dish of the night, but cooked perfectly.
The only one I didn’t love was the leek. It was warm with a foamy sauce — not really my thing, but that’s just personal taste. The walnuts on it were nice though.
Service was also amazing. Every dish was explained by someone from the team, and you could tell they really cared about the food.
I went there alone, and noticed a few other people dining solo too — which made me feel very comfortable. It was a peaceful, special dinner, and I’m happy I went.

Went here with some friends on a Sunday evening and had a fantastic experience. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and tolerated my soliloquy on oaking wines in amiable fashion.
Also, speaking English was no problem at all.
10/10 - would recommend!

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Service was excellent, every dish was carefully explained to us and the time between courses was spaced out perfectly. The staff asks just enough questions to be able to tailor the experience for you while still being able to guide you through the courses.
The ambiance is wonderful here. The open kitchen when you arrive is also a plus.
We particularly enjoyed the gazpacho and the mackerel cucumber (first dish in the fast four).
Definitely get a reservation.
