When delicious food and really good wines are combined with attentive service in really cozy new and authentic surroundings, it can only be a wonderful experience. The location close to both Jyderup station, Jyderup Skov and Naturpark Åmosen also makes it an obvious destination. Thanks to the host couple and service for a wonderful evening.

Super cozy place with delicious food at absolutely reasonable prices. The menu changes from week to week, so you can try new delicious dishes on your next visit. The menu for the coming week is posted on the place's Facebook page. The restaurant itself is decorated like a cozy living room, which gives a very informal and homely atmosphere, which is emphasized by the attentive service. The menu is not huge, but there are still quite a few different dishes to choose from, and you can mix them as you like. My husband and I were there on 4/8 2026 and had carpaccio and a "small" charcuterie board for starters and a delicious creamy cannelloni with spinach for the main course. Everything was really delicious, and the portions are very generous. Bread is constantly replenished during the meal, and there was a super quality olive oil on the table for free use. The dessert was the highlight for me personally, however, when I got the place's homemade ice cream. I have a big weakness for hazelnut ice cream since we were in Rome a few years ago, but it has not been possible to find anything close to the intensity of flavor that real Italian hazelnut ice cream has. However, I got it this evening. It was absolutely wonderful, and the chocolate ice cream was certainly not bad either. And as with the rest of the food, the portions are really generous. As I said, the service is very attentive and friendly. They are very attentive, so we didn't miss anything along the way. Just as it was possible to move on to the next dish without having to wait very long for it. The prices are almost touching, especially in relation to what you get for the price. Super quality and taste, and I don't think we have ever had a (by the way, really good) glass of red wine for only 75 kr elsewhere to eat out, even at a reasonable temperature, which many restaurants could learn something from. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
