Instead of complaining about the toast from Kohberg during my shooting star, I will instead rejoice in the wonderful fresh fish and hand-peeled shrimp, it tasted really good. I was here in high season, but still got a table quickly from a staff that bravely fought through the needs of the many guests. The restaurant is located in a beautiful historic building filled with atmosphere and the sound of wings. Definitely worth a visit.

Mellem Jyder offers classic Danish well-prepared dishes. My husband is always on the lookout for (Wiener) schnitzel, so that's what we got. Just as they should be with fried potatoes, lots of juicy peas, butter sauce and boy. I couldn't finish mine even though I don't normally stick to bun milk! Check out the photo 🫪 We sat in the courtyard, but read about the history of the inn on the menu. The inn rooms were supposed to be quirky decorated, and we were allowed to check them out (they weren't in use due to the fantastic warm weather). I imagine they're super cozy in the dark months. Attentive waiters, reasonable prices, nice toilets. Recommended!

We were here for lunch ("breakfast") and were served quickly by friendly staff. The food was good.
