09/09/2025: Røverstuen, located opposite Comwell Hotel in Rebild, is a small, cozy gem of a restaurant. It is always crowded, and there is a very good reason for that – the food is simply excellent. Here you get well-prepared dishes made from local ingredients, prepared with love and a sense of taste. I can especially recommend their signature dish Røvergryden. It is a fusion of different game dishes, and this evening it was served with both red deer and wild boar, accompanied by pearl onions, cocktail sausages and mushrooms in a creamy cream sauce. Perfect potatoes were served with this – a dish that was both filling, tasty and full of character. The atmosphere at Røverstuen is relaxed and cozy, with an informal atmosphere that makes you feel at ease from the first moment. The prices match the quality, and you leave with the feeling that you have really gotten a lot for your money. Whether you are staying at Comwell Hotel or just in the area around Rebild, I highly recommend stopping by Røverstuen – both for lunch and dinner. It is an experience you should not miss.
